I really like the idea of Static Site Generation for websites because of reliability and most importantly speed! The speed of the website is a bare necesity for a great user experience and many many websites get this wrong.
I've been exploring Static Site Generators with Gatsby (a React framework) and have built a number of sites for myself and for others with Gatsby and Contentful:
